Meeting in Finland

Centria University of Applied Sciences hosted the fifth transnational meeting within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “The acceleration method of development of transversal competences in the students’ practical training process” between 16.11 and 17.11.2017. The representatives from the following partners were present:

The monograph “The Acceleration of Development of Transversal Competences”

The monograph “The Acceleration of Development of Transversal Competences” documents and summarizes the first stage of design work and at the same time defines the place of scientific and research work carried out in the project. The purpose of the project “The Acceleration Method of Development of Transversal Competences in the Students’ Practical Training Process” is to develop a learning method which will allow accelerating the teaching of cross-cutting skills in the Practical Training Process. The presented monograph is one of the objectives of the project.

European Conference on Knowledge Management – Barcelona, Spain

September 7-8 2017, the 18th European Conference on Knowledge Management – ECKM has took place in Barcelona. Ph.D.Eng. Maciej Szafrański, Ph.D. Eng. Marek Goliński, Ph.D. Eng. Magdalena Graczyk-Kucharska, a researchers at the Faculty of Management Engineering at the Poznan University of Technology, presented an article titled “The Method of Designing Reference Models of Workstations”, co-created with Ph.D. Eng. Małgorzata Spychała.The conference is generally attended by participants from more than 40 countries and attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, practitioners and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of Knowledge Management.

Design Thinking Week – Poznan, Poland

Four very different teams after exchanging insights and experiences built a project that was meant to be a communication solution between the Millenials generation and employers.
There were 20 participants in the Poznan workshop, including students, young workers, trainers, vocational counselors, employees of Poznań City Hall, as well as corporate owners or HR directors of multinational corporations.
